so over the past week i had yet another toenail infection, this was with my big toe in a pretty weird spot. my other big toe is feeling the sting in the same general area whenever i put my weight onto that toe while walking, but didn't get infected like the other one did. i blame this on the way the nails are growing D;. i think they're starting to curve inwards and into the tissue, though i seriously hope that isn't the case.

my parents think i need to have the toenail with the infected tissue around it removed. something i'm not looking forward to.

anyways, i got curious about how the toenail removal procedure was done.......and now i am freaked out more than i was before. in one of the vids, it showed the needle going right THROUGH the toe...you could even see the contents of the syringe squirting out the other end (the person pulled his foot back, also the surgeon stuck the needle in too deep too fast. put both of those together and...D; ). on top of that the needle seemed to be bending and the person handling it also probed the needle inside the toe. honestly, i've heard horror stories about that happening but i never thought i'd live to see something like that actually being done. if you're curious about it, here's the vid [link] . one of my fears is having one of those suckers snap off and lodged into the tissue X___x . another one of my fears is the surgeon performing his/her job recklessly.
