(off topic: the comments from the last journal entry were interesting. some of them got me thinking and others amused me >u<b *thumbs up*)

so anyways, before yesterday i was doing something different in the rp and had my character do one of those random moments of evilness, got a friend into it too, and went back to where the other rpc's were to do their evil thing. but then one of the noobs comes by to face the threat. dude completely ignored my rpc lolol x'D ---so that's when i decided to see why it was taking so long for him to reply, looked at his profile comments, and saw this huge conversation happening between several people about the rp and his character. he was defending himself about the accusations that he godmods, saying that he doesn't. and this is collaboration of what he's said along with my experience of rp-ing with the guy. (if you don't know what a godmodder is, scroll down, there's a list. i've listed a huge chunk of godmoding characteristics.):

--his rpc can control all four elements plus electricity. earlier he said the rpc can't control them perfectly...and yet he has perfect control, and power to boot. i forgot what abilities he originally started off with, but i remember that electricity was one of the added ones, so the guy adds abilities (everyone who's seen him rp knows this). -----he didn't fail me today 8'D. i predicted this. he added some new abilities today x'D. i thought it was two but it's actually 3 (1-giant ice spikes that can slice through people [he said earlier his rpc can't use ice, and yet we see it here], 2-becoming somewhat of a spirit in order to purge darkness from a person's soul, 3-forcing people back into a solid state if they were in some sort of non-solid form).
--rpc has super speed, and thus can dodge almost anything. some people are pressured to godmod themselves in order to be able to hit this guy. watching this guy in battle sucks cuz i see auto-hitting left and right, from both him and the person he's rp-ing against.
--one of the people he was having a conversation with said to watch out for my character. then he replies with something along the lines of "i can zap that bug easily, whether he's in bug or human form---because he's mostly made up of water". and with that logic, it means he can instantly beat anyone with electricity---my rpc has the same water mass as an average person...or, whatever form he's in lolol x'D.
--he made another comment about his rpc being "stronger than anyone knows"
--also has some sort of healing elixir that he uses, and instantly heals him (he claims to use it only after the end of battles...i haven't seen him use it during battles...yet. i'm sure he would if he's pressured to...though i doubt it since his rpc seems to shrug off the godmoded damage quickly.)
--character is NOT supposed to have the ability to mind read, but his character still responds to people's thoughts and intentions.

*rubs her chin* and he thinks that isn't god-moding? wow, this guy has got his head stuck up somewhere lolol x'D. he's definitely frustrated more people than me, based on what he's said about his previous rp experience...and not surprisingly (since this is typical of a god-moder or mary sue), he hasn't learned anything from it.


the rp battle today was something i wouldn't completely agree to. yamiko godmoded, but i truly think that was because she was familiar with this guy's fighting style and was pressured into auto-hitting the guy just to put some damage in. then i had my character move in, only holding up the guns and trying to convince the guy's rpc to stop. i expected that the guy would have his rpc super speed or use electricity on my rpc, but he did something way worse than that: he used his ICE ability to slice off my rpc's arms, never giving my rpc a chance to react. ---at that point i lost it because i never godmoded against that guy, and also because that was permanent damage (my rpc has no regenerative abilities other than maybe growing back new skin in a few hours).

at the end i told him to list out every single damn ability his rpc has. i also offered to list my rpc's abilities in exchange.

i was also annoyed at the conversation between him and the thread owner. the thread owner even suggested to have my rpc's arms ripped off.

why the hell am i still in this rp? i think i am insane... this rp is insane! it's full of godmodders and mary sues! *sits down and sighs* =u= *pops her knuckles* there is one person in there i absolutely want to dish my anger out on, and i haven't gotten to her yet. i think she was out of the rp to avoid the fighting, possibly scared of yamiko.

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GODMODING:
-killing another person's rpc without their permission
-giving a character/weapon insanely powerful abilities (or powerful abilities that don't have limitations or some sort of weakness)
-giving a character/weapon too many abilities
-invincibility (eg always blocking, always being unharmed, always capable of using a shield that can't be broken, etc.)
-always dodging/evading without getting a single scratch (eg always using super speed with no limitations or sign of getting tired, always conveniently moving out of the way of an attack, etc.)
-infinite instant healing (has no limitations on the times one can heal)
-auto-hitting (this means taking action (eg punching, kicking, stabbing, etc.) against another rpc in a fight without giving that person a chance to react.)
-taking control of someone else's rpc (that means taking control of actions, speech, thought, history, etc.)
-defying natural spacial limitations (eg talking in one place then appearing in another within an instant even though the character doesn't have teleportation abilities, instantly popping up in the middle of someone else's location with no explanation on how they got there, etc.).
-defying time limitations. things like...saying that from one post to another, there is a gap of several years with zero explanation without the consent of the other people in the thread.
-having instant/infinite knowledge when your rpc doesn't have the capability of doing so (eg knowing another rpc's name without anyone telling your rpc, knowing what happened in some other rpc's past without being told, knowing what's going on in another rpc's head, etc.)
